Cousin Daniel

Amelia and Elliott's cousin Daniel came over to play with them today. They had a lot of fun. They all get along so well, they love each other a lot. Daniel loved Ruby but wasn't real crazy about Amelia's fish mask.

We got great news today! We found out that Daniel is going to have a baby Brother. Things are going to be wild in our family with 3 boys all within 2 years of each other. We are looking forward to exciting times!

Brother & Sister Play Date

The kids had a play date with their friends Catherine and Matthew. The girls had to immediately put on their princess dresses and the boys were only interested in playing ball, cars and terrorizing their sisters! It's funny how at such a young age the boys already drive their sisters nuts and mess things up for them. I love it!!

Elliott can't even leave Amelia alone when they go to bed. Even though he is always getting into Amelia's stuff and driving her nuts, at the end of the day they are as close as can be and love each other greatly.

Nathan's Birthday Party & Father's Day

One of Amelia's very best buddies, Nathan, had a birthday party this week. The kids had a blast and it was nice to see our friends Lea and Sam.

Elliott took off and wanted to play in the play gym like all the other big kids. He kept on blocking the tunnels and almost got stepped on several times. O-well that is how you learn, right??

Today is Father's Day. We celebrated Father's Day yesterday with Frank's family and I forgot my camera. Frank's Parents, Grandparents, Aunts and Cousin joined us. We went to a burger joint in New Braunfels and then went to Gruene, TX for ice cream. It was a very nice and relaxing day. Today Frank has been enjoying the day with us relaxing and being pampered. It's been a great day for a GREAT DAD!!! We love you Daddy!!

Sea World is Open

Our great friends Kelly and Carson are visiting from Virgina so we had to hit Sea World. My Mom (Diana), Aunt (Lala) and Cousins (Delia and Natalie) joined us. You know us, we travel in packs.

Amelia, Carson and Natalie loved getting on all the rides. Elliott loved watching the Shamu show and hugging and kissing on Natalie. It was cloudy most of the day which was great and when the HOT sun came out we were leaving so it worked out perfectly!

New Addition(s) to our Family

On May 28, 2008, Amelia became the proud owner of her first pet hamster, Ruby Red Quijano. She is crazy about Ruby. She picked her out all by herself and has worked very hard to tame Ruby. She is a great hamster. We have to be very careful that Elliott does not squeeze her to death or pick her up and throw her while she is in her hamster ball. Other then that, so far so good.

Amelia also just finished raising 9 caterpillars into butterflies. She named them Kendall, Fairen, Leanne, Sara, Ashley, Ethan, Caleb, Isaiah and Henry after her Teddy Bear Class. She loves getting into her butterfly tent and letting them fly around her and land on her. She had to let 6 of them go this morning and she will let the last 3 go tonight. I think we are going to take a break from raising butterflies now that we have Ruby.
