Amelia is officially a big kid now. She lost her first baby tooth on Valentine's Day. It was the first baby tooth she got and the first tooth she lost. It has been loose for about 3 weeks now and was ready to come out but we were afraid to pull it. My Aunt Mary Helen came over and said to tie dental floss around it and pull it out. Since she has experience doing this we asked her to do it. Amelia was all for it, she was ready for the tooth fairy to come. She even put on her princess dress for the occasion. She just flinched when it came out and did not cry. When my Aunt pulled on it the tooth came flying out and we could not find it. I started to panic. We were all on our hands and knees looking for it and after about 5 minutes Amelia found it. .JPG)

She is such a brave strong girl! The tooth fairy came and brought her 5 $1 bills for it. This was a Valentine's Day we will always remember!

Remember the good 'ol days when you'd get 25 cents or even 50 cents for a tooth! :-) I'm cracking up at the idea of the tooth flying out and you scrambling to find it!
